Water View May 21
We have been lucky enough to be the very first guests in Water View! A wee break for Mum, Dad, little one, Gran and Pop! Post lockdown, this long weekend has been just what we needed. The house is immaculate, cosy and well equipped. The peace outside on the decking in the evening is quite unbelievable and very welcome. We hope to return soon and thank the owners for being so friendly, accommodating and for providing such a lovely environment for us to relax in, in such a beautiful location. We cannot get enough of that view!! Highly recommended.

Sam, Ian and family – where can we start. This cottage was so lovely, by far our favourite and we will definitely be back very soon. You have everything anyone would ever need for a stay here and it is so clean and comfortable. Not only is your cottage amazing but you were amazing too. From Ian checking Kali’s finger after she jammed it in the car door to Sam taking our two girls to meet the hens and collecting eggs. The girls enjoyed eating them! Not only that, when we told you how much we enjoyed the welcome cake, you went out of your way to order us more. Thank you so much for having us.

An Airigh June 21
An Airigh is tucked away in a quiet but very friendly little village on the banks of Loch Fyne. The house itself is beautiful and the best equiped holiday home I have ever stayed in. It's cute and quaint but very contemporary at the same time. The owners and Amanda have thought of everything. We spent the week walking, swimming in the Loch and just generally relaxing. The little Island that you can see from the cabin (we claimed it as ours!) is about a 20-30minute walk. We saw a seal and Dolpins plus lots of birds. The Greggan Inn was basic but good. The Whistlefield Inn was great but the pub we loved the most was The Coylet Inn (about 20mins drive). The food was great, staff friendly and they allowed us to take their cayaks out for free. We had a wonderful afternoon going around Loch Eck. We will definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you Amanda for making us feel so welcome.

A lovely cottage in a great setting, slightly raised to give views over Loch Fyne. The surrounding wood is beautiful and has many resident bird species and red squirrel. Comfortable sitting room and bedrooms (although the twin would be neat for two adults and luggage), and the kitchen has all the usual equipment with breakfast bar seating. There is a picnic table in the garden, which is a nice addition. It is a short drive to Strachur where there are a couple of local shops with all the basics (great venison sausages from the local area), restaurant and cafe. Also just a short drive to the head of Loch Fyne where the Oyster Bar and Fyne Ales brewery are located. A lovely cottage in a special location.

Water View May 21
What a wonderful place with a view that keeps on giving! Thank you for creating a home that feels cozy and special. We feel we’ve been thoroughly spoilt with the thought you have put into Water View. Paddle boarding, kayaking, walking and biking plus even dolphin spotting from the deck! Lots of very happy memories have been made here. Magical! Diolch o gallon – Thank you from the heart. Gorgeous house in a beautiful location. We had a very relaxing week in this coastal hideaway. The house is brand new and had everything we needed. Lovely combination of ‘mod cons’ and old classics that created a lovely interior that was elegant but cosy too. Very comfortable beds, great showers, large lounging sofas, and picture windows that provided use great views of the hills and Loch Fyne. The outside porch is also great for relaxing in, as well as providing great drying place for outdoor sporting gear. The house is in the very small village of Newton and we enjoyed meeting locals and visitors, sitting with a drink on the pier, and walking to the hills beyond. The house is ideally located for trips to Inveraray and Dunoon, as well as the village of Strachur where we stocked up on food and petrol. This is a gorgeous part of Scotland and it was lovely to have such a great base to enjoy it from. We would’ve stayed another week if it hadn’t been booked!
