Meet Amanda
I spent my entire career working in advertising and marketing, mainly with Advertising and Design Agencies but also had a couple of jobs in marketing departments on the client side of the business.
I moved to Argyll 15 years ago for a change of pace of life and to spend some time with my son before he went to school, he had been in full time nursery since he was born and so a wee chance to spend some time collecting shells on the beach and baking cakes was very welcome. It was only supposed to be a short stay, maybe a couple of years and then the plan was to move back to Glasgow, however we quickly became “Argylled” as we call it and decided to make our lives work here.
I have continued to work in marketing since moving to Argyll, mainly working with artisan food producers, events and hospitality but following the turn of events in 2020, the chance to have a complete change and work was too good to miss.
